I was born to Marion Dale and Mavis Loaine Redlingshafer on Easter Sunday, April 21, 1946, and named Judy Sue by my sister Mavis Jolaine. I grew up in Pueblo, CO where we were active members of the First Baptist Church and I attended Parkview Elementary, Risley Jr. High and East High. When I was 15 we moved to Las Cruces, NM where I attended and graduated from Las Cruces High School. I attended New Mexico State University for one year and met and married James Wesley (Havener) Blaine, August 28, 1965. We moved the next year to Corvallis, OR where he attended Oregon State University and received his PHD in Microbiology 4 years later. Our son Jon Wesley Blaine was born there August 7, 1969. Over the next 20 years we moved back to Las Cruces, NM; Albuquerque, NM; Salisbury, NC; Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and back to Albuquerque. We divorced in 1987. I then lived in Huntingdon Valley, PA for 5 years and then moved to Los Angeles, CA to be close to Jon. In 1997 I met and married James Wallace (Cotton) Kitson. He was also my first cousin. The son of my mother's brother James Wallace Cotton. He brought me home to Page, AZ. He died on Easter, March 28, 2016. I continue to live here with my little dog Fergie, and 4 cats, MissChevious (Missy), Roam Meow, Snoopy and Sunshine.
